The Inventory Item business object represents the inventory record for an Item at a specific location, warehouse, bin, or condition. It provides a central place to track quantities, stock thresholds, location, status, and related inventory transactions.
Description
Use the Inventory Item object to manage the stock position of an Item at a specific Location. It can connect inventory to the underlying Item and Location records, track on-hand, reserved, and available quantities, maintain minimum and maximum stock levels, define a reorder point, and automatically indicate the current stock status.
