Working with AnyDB Sheets
Sheets in AnyDB are freeform, spreadsheet-like documents that allow you to store any kind of flexible data. Unlike records—which are structured and driven by fields and templates—Sheets are flexible and open-ended, allowing you to organize and store any kind of information easily.
What Can You Add to a Sheet?
Sheets support a wide range of formatting options just like a spreadsheet.
They support rows and columns like a spreadsheet and allow you to have different cell types (more than what a typical spreadsheet supports) In fact a sheet in AnyDB is the underlying data behind structured records. Editing a sheet will work the same way as the Template Designer.
Copy paste data from Google Sheets/Excel into a sheet
Sheets allow copying and pasting data directly from excel or google sheets or numbers into a Sheet.
Connecting AnyDB Sheets with other data
A cell in AnyDB sheet can be connected to any other record's cell or any other sheet using formulas and all relationships and linking options will work.
note
A sheet can be easily also converted to a template.
When working on complex templates, sometimes it is easier to build all the items as sheets and then convert them to templates when final.
