Skills and memory
Skills
A skill is a reusable set of instructions for a kind of work, shared across the team. For example: how we triage a bug report, how to write the weekly summary, our refund policy.
Each skill has:
- Name
- When to use it: one line. A Teammate sees only the name and this line until it decides the skill applies, then loads the instructions.
- Instructions: the full how-to, with optional reference files.
- Connectors it needs (optional): the connections the skill expects. If a Teammate is given the skill without them, its Skills tab says which ones are missing.
A skill grants no access. It only tells the Teammate how to do something it is already allowed to do.
Managing skills
- Create or edit skills in Teammates > Library > Skills. Every save keeps a version; open a skill's versions to see earlier ones and Restore one.
- Import a skill in the Agent Skills format: a
SKILL.mdwith a name and description, plus optional reference files. You review it before it is saved. Scripts in an imported skill are never run. - Give a skill to a Teammate on its Skills tab: tick the skills it may use.
Memory
A Teammate keeps short notes for its future tasks. It saves a note when something will help later: a preference, a rule of thumb, where something lives, or on a long job, where it got to. Notes are never a copy of record data: that stays in the record.
- General notes go with every task.
- Record notes go only with work on that record.
Team admins, and admins of every workspace the Teammate works in, can read and correct its notes on its Memory tab. No one else can.
