AnyDB Sync App for Shopify
Shopify is built to handle your e-commerce storefront, providing an exceptional experience for your customers. But what about the operations happening behind the scenes? AnyDB helps you run the operations behind your storefront.
The AnyDB Sync App for Shopify connects your essential storefront data—products, orders, customers, inventory, and locations—with AnyDB through a flexible, configurable two-way sync.
Once your Shopify data is pushed into AnyDB, it can become part of the foundational operational systems that drive your business: powering inventory management, purchasing workflows, special order tracking, vendor coordination, team approvals, specialized portals, and unique internal processes.
As your operations grow, you can seamlessly connect additional systems and workflows in AnyDB without disrupting your Shopify setup.
Key Features
- Configurable two-way sync tasks: Easily map and move data between Shopify and AnyDB. Choose whether data flows from Shopify to AnyDB, AnyDB to Shopify, or both perfectly orchestrated.
- Track sync progress: Gain full operational visibility with detailed task logs, progress bars, and historical tracking to ensure your data is always pristine and up-to-date.
- Webhook-driven automatic updates: Run tasks manually when you choose, or opt-in to webhook-driven automatic updates that trigger syncs instantly when ongoing changes happen in either system.
Installing the App
You can install the AnyDB sync app directly from the Shopify App Store.
- Navigate to the AnyDB listing on the Shopify App Store at https://apps.shopify.com/anydb-sync.
- Click Install app.
- You will be redirected to your Shopify admin portal. If prompted, select the store you wish to install the app on.
- Review the requested permissions and click Install.
- Once installed, you will be directed to the AnyDB sync app within your Shopify Admin to complete your connection to your AnyDB workspace.
Billing and Subscription Charges
The AnyDB sync app requires a subscription to operate, but charges depend entirely on the type of Shopify store you are using:
- Shopify Development Stores: If you are installing the app on a Shopify Development Store (e.g., as an agency or partner building for a client), the app will use Shopify's test charge environment. There will be no real subscription charges applied.
- Production Stores: When installing the app on a live, production Shopify store, real subscription charges will apply. You will be prompted to approve the recurring application charge before you can begin syncing data.
