Keep navigation centered on the few things guests need: shared records, forms, and clear next steps. Use business language rather than internal system terms.

A welcome message should identify the organization, explain the portal's purpose, and tell guests where to get help. Branding improves confidence, but it does not replace careful permissions or clear content organization.
