User-Specific or Dynamic Views

A dynamic view uses the signed-in user's context to return different set of records for different people.

Create a custom view, choose Smart Search, and build a query using a user variable such as User ID or User Email. A My Assigned Requests view can then match the current user to the Assignee field.

The view definition is shared, but its results are personal. Two technicians open the same view and see their own assigned records still drawn from the same set of records.

Test dynamic views as users with different assignments, especially when the view is used for guest sharing or portal access.
