What an Object Contains

An object brings the information about a business entity together in one place. Depending on its purpose, it can contain:

• fields for names, dates, status, amounts, and other data
• files and documents related to the object
• comments and activity from the people working with it
• child objects that belong inside it
• links to other independent objects
• actions and workflows that move work forward

Information with context​

A project is more useful when its details, documents, discussion, tasks, and related customer are available together. The object provides that complete context instead of spreading it across disconnected tools.
