What an Object Contains
An object brings the information about a business entity together in one place. Depending on its purpose, it can contain:
- fields for names, dates, status, amounts, and other data
- files and documents related to the object
- comments and activity from the people working with it
- child objects that belong inside it
- links to other independent objects
- actions and workflows that move work forward
Information with context
A project is more useful when its details, documents, discussion, tasks, and related customer are available together. The object provides that complete context instead of spreading it across disconnected tools.
