Search, Filters, and Sorting

Use search when you know what you are looking for. Use filters and sorting when you want to organize a set of records.

Search across AnyDB

Select Search in the sidebar or use CTRL + K to find records and other content. Search by a recognizable value such as a customer name, project name, order number, or asset identifier.

Narrow the current view

A filter shows only records that match selected conditions. For example, you might focus on open work orders, overdue tasks, or records assigned to a particular person.

Filters affect what is shown; they do not delete or change the records that do not match.

Put records in a useful order

Sorting controls the order of the current results, such as newest first, highest priority first, or alphabetical by customer. A saved view may already include filters and sorting appropriate to its purpose.

Filtering a list of records in AnyDB

Filters narrow a list to records that match the conditions relevant to your task.
